Founder and President of Triad Tax Service, Alice Linville, EA specializes in tax preparation and planning for individuals, businesses, estates, and trusts.
Alice is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), NC Society of Enrolled Agents (NCSEA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP), and NC Society of Accountants (NCSA). She previously held the offices of Vice President, Secretary, and Director for NCSEA. She also held the position of Director for NC NATP.
Alice was the recipient of the 2012 Thurman E. Askew, EA Memorial Award and serves as an instructor to other tax professionals seeking to achieve the Enrolled Agent designation.
Prior to founding Triad Tax Service in 2002, Alice worked for a national tax preparation firm as a tax consultant, bookkeeper for corporate and partnership clients, and taught a basic tax course each fall.
Her bachelor’s degree in chemistry is from Campbell University.
Alice holds the following credentials:
- Enrolled Agent (EA) from the U.S. Department of the Treasury (March 2004).
- Accredited Tax Preparer (ATP) and Accredited Tax Advisor (ATA) from the Accreditation Council for Accounting and Taxation (ACAT) (2006).
- Accredited Retirement Advisor (ARA) from ACAT (2007).
Petra Sveum has been a professional tax preparer and advisor with Triad Tax Service since 2012 when she also became an Enrolled Agent (EA). Petra has expertise in tax, accounting, finance, personnel, benefits and payroll as well as sales and paralegal experience. Petra’s masters’ degree in liberal studies is from UNC-G and her bachelor’s degree in organizational management and communications is from Concordia College. In addition, she has an Accounting Diploma from GTCC.
Sheila Hartman has been with Triad Tax Service, Inc since 2008. She leads the small business human resources, bookkeeping and payroll services for Triad Tax Service. Sheila holds a Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification, is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and has a Bookkeeper Certification through National Bookkeepers Association. She is a member of the national association of SHRM and holds a SHRM-SCP.
Previously, Sheila served in various human resources senior management roles where she developed and administered benefits, safety procedures, employee relations programs, recruiting and performance evaluations as well as policies and procedures. She has experience in a variety of industries including higher education, distribution and manufacturing which includes six years in the local furniture industry. Sheila’s bachelor’s degree is from Eastern Michigan University where she majored in business administration with a concentration in HR.
Megan Linville has been with Triad Tax Service, Inc. since October of 2014. She is the office manager and provides customer service. Megan also assists clients in setting up their online portals and answers questions pertaining to the use of the portals. Megan obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She recently completed and passed all three parts of the Special Enrollment Exam to become an Enrolled Agent (EA).
